ACSiS

ACSiS is a proprietary Health Information System that enables effective centralized management of national, regional, or local health sectors.

Understanding that the central transaction within the business of Health Care is between patient and clinician, the hub of ACSiS is the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

  • The output of that appointment drives the cross-section of functional experts that comprise the health sector from Accounting to Pharmacy

  • ACSiS ensures that the relevant data is appropriately and immediately available throughout the sector.

  • ACSiS uniquely addresses the global requirement for evidence based health sector management.

  • The system’s national, comprehensive approach facilitates both an immediate improvement in clinical care while enabling actuarial analysis as a basis for performance improvement.

ACSiS Modules

EHR – ADT: Electronic Health Records and Admission Discharge Transfers

These two, closely linked, modules are the prerequisites to all other Modules. The purpose of these two modules is to record personal data for each patient and record the basic details of each of their encounters with the health sector.

COE: Clinician Order Entry

The COE module is used to create, dispense, cancel and administer prescriptions. This module is a prerequisite to MCH, HIV, SCM and PH modules.

FIN: Financial

The FIN module is used to record costs and prices for medical supplies, procedures, services and administrative activities. The functions of FIN include the ability to view an advice for costing and billing based on the patient's encounter data and payment source.

MCH: Maternal Child Health

A major purpose of the MCH module is to help identify pregnancies of high risk status. These identified pregnancies can then receive care at an appropriate source and more frequent and intense monitoring. The MCH module will also help manage ordinary pregnancies, record delivery details and immunizations received by the child.

HIV: HIV/AIDS

The HIV module is designed to record the data collected during pre/post testing counseling as well as HIV/AIDS clinic visits. The tool records WHO staging criteria to help track the patient's progress and CD4 counts.

LAB: Laboratory and Testing

The LAB module is used to create orders for tests, associate the test requests and eventual results. The scope of the tests range from laboratory tests to radiology to vitals.

SCM: Supply Chain Management

The SCM module is designed to track the inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies at each facility and across the entire nation. This will make it possible for administrators to reduce waste by tracking inventory in a First Expiry First Out (FEFO) manner.

PH: Public Health

The PH module records health activities that are not primarily focused on an individual patient. The broad range of activities covered by the Public Health module include: facility inspections and vector control activities.

HR: Human Resources

The HR module assists human resources departments to administer jobs, staffing, leave and requests for leave.  This module is not a prerequisite to any other function
